Interview with Kit Hinrichs

Interview with Kit Hinrichs for JCCC Design Speak Volume 4 This assignment was to interview a designer (local or otherwise) and use the transcript from the interview along with requested imagery of their work, to design a 2 page spread editorial article. I was pretty nervous contacting Mr. Hinrich's studio to request the interview, but quickly found out how nice he and his staff are. In addition to the interview questions I had, he was full of good advice, encouragement and easy to talk with. The color choices in these spreads are his studio brand yellow and the fonts were chosen based on a listing of favorite fonts he published in his book Typewise. All imagery was provided by Studio Hinrichs. Copies of this publication were produced by Johnson County Community College (JCCC) through Blurb.
